Summer Reading Series: Goodnight Moon
Who doesn’t love a good bedtime story?? One of my faves, especially for the young ones (ages zero to three) is “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown.
It’s a wonderful story about a tiny rabbit and everything he sees and hears before he goes to sleep. Each page is bursting with warm colors and stunning drawings. The story springs to life with delightful rhymes and clever language. Witness the startling beauty that is all around a simple bedroom when you just take the time to stop, look and listen.
Maybe, just maybe, if you read in a soft tone, your child will be swiftly lulled to sleep. (Yay, more me-time!! Netflix here we come…)

But “Goodnight Moon” isn’t just a soothing tale to get your tiny angel to start snoring. It’s also a good book for fun under the sun!
